I came to the Esplanade House in Sept. 2006 as a 46 year old single father after failing at my stays in and out of rehabs. My teenage children, Beau and Jessica, were living with friends until the Esplanade House changed our lives!
I took advantage of all the program had to offer such as daily living skills, relapse prevention, fatherhood and parenting classes, financial planning and out patient services.
Thanks to the Esplanade House programs and staff, I now have the knowledge and skills to be a productive member of my community. I’m proud to say I have been clean & sober for three years, my IRS problems have been solved, my credit rating is in good standing and all my felonies have been expunged.
I have my own business license, an active manageable bank account, and utilities in my own name. I have completed all fines and probation, and have a healthy relationship with my children and family. My son Beau has his GED and is employed.
I graduated in June 2007 and my life is good. I’ll be forever grateful to the Esplanade House for the opportunity to get my life back in order.
