Canyon Oaks Women's Golf Club Donates Time & Gifts
Canyon Oaks Women’s Golf Club donated toys and a financial gift to Esplanade House Director, Gloria Rodgers, for the children during Christmas 2009. The ladies also volunteer reading to the pre-school children each week.
7th Day Adventist Church Supplies Gingerbread Supplies to the Kids
7th Day Adventist Church supplied all the necessary materials for the children to make Gingerbread houses during Christmas 2009. The kids were so proud of their final project.
Received New Coats This 2009 Holiday Season
The children of the Esplanade House received new coats this 2009 holiday season thanks to a $1000 grant from Walmart, the Esplanade House Children’s Trust fund, and the Coats for Kids Program. Chico Fire Engine 6 transported Santa Clause and the gift wrapped coats to the Esplanade House Child Development Center. The Coats for Kids Program is sponsored by WalMart, The Blaze 103.5, Sun Valley Solar, and Chico Fire Department.
Chico Breakfast Lions Deliver Present to the Children
Chico Breakfast Lions delivered presents to the children during the Christmas holiday to support staff in meeting their goal of providing presents to the 105 children living at the Esplanade House.
The Families and Staff of the Esplanade House Share a Wonderful Night of Holiday Cheer
Rancho Esquan provides transportation to the ranch along with dinner and gifts. Santa arrives via helicopter and every child receives a Christmas present. The families and staff of the Esplanade House share a wonderful night of holiday cheer during the 2009 holiday.
Americana Corvette Club Bring Gifts and Toys for the Children
Americana Corvette Club show off their cars along with a monetary gift and toys for the children. The Esplanade House families love having the classic cars at the facility as the owners allow time to sit in the cars and take cool pictures during the 2009 holiday.

Volunteers from the GRUB Program
Volunteers from the GRUB program visit the Esplanade House children once a week to help care for their own garden of vegetables and herbs used in preparing food at the on-site daycare center.
